Smart Youth founding director
Christina is the co-founder of SMART Youth. She manages the curriculum and scheduling of SMART Youth programs. She also trains youth ambassadors, and plans fundraising events. Contact Christina for SMART Youth, community event, and fundraising inquiries.
SMART Youth Coordinator
Frances facilitates sexual health education and assists in nutritional workshops for SMART Youth. She also helps expand SMART Youth's impact by conducting outreach and developing organizational partnerships. Contact Frances for SMART Youth related inquiries.
Kevin oversees all programs of SMART including SMART Youth. He coordinates outreach initiatives and participation in health fairs and other community events. Contact Kevin for information about SMART programs, activities, or SMART participation in any community events or health fairs.
Les applies his energy to the development of SMART programs and initiatives, as well as being the in-house graphic designer/marketing director, and the instructor for SMART Art & Technology. Working with the Founding Director, he is also the associate grant writer for SMART. Director of Operations
Sam handles all of the logistics of SMART programs and activities. She builds relations with other CBO’s in East Harlem and beyond. Contact Sam for any SMART program presentation inquiries.

Culinary director & Chef nutritionist
Tawnya leads our cooking and nutrition workshops at the East Harlem Health Action Center and around the community. She ensures that each class has up-to-date, science based nutrition education and that our participants learn how to prepare fresh, delicious, and healthy meals.
